Vancouver to Victoria
Today you will depart downtown Vancouver in the morning at 9:15am* and take a scenic ferry through the Gulf Islands. After arriving on Vancouver Island, you will then visit the famous, Butchart Gardens!

Next, we visit the Sea Cider Farm and Ciderhouse for a winery tour and some cider tasting. You will then check in at your centrally located hotel in downtown Victoria and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure exploring the city.

Victoria
After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Victoria City and a visit to Beacon Hill Park, Chinatown, Fan Tan Alley, Fisherman’s Wharf and Government Street. The remainder of the day is spent at your leisure strolling along Government Street, visiting the Royal BC Museum or if you wish, you can opt in to the additional tour activity of Afternoon Tea at the very fancy, Fairmont Empress Hotel*

Victoria to Tofino
This morning, you will have an early departure from your hotel and drive along the Malahat Highway where you will enjoy beautiful views over the Southern Gulf Islands. We stop at the Malahat SkyWalk – the newest outdoor experience on Vancouver Island to embark on a 1,968 ft long elevated walkway through an expansive Arbutus and Douglas Fir Forest, leading to a 10-story, architecturally-inspiring spiral tower lookout – the first of its kind in BC. Rising 820 ft above sea level, you will enjoy 360-degree views of islands, inlets, fjords, forests and mountains in two countries.

Next, we stop in Duncan for a brief tour around the City of Totems and some free time for lunch. You will arrive in Tofino in the evening and check into your hotel where your guide will tell you about all the great onsite amenities and recommend some great places to go for your evening meal.

Tofino & Pacific Rim National Park
Today we explore Tofino and its magnificent beaches including Long Beach with the option to join your guide for a hike.

Enjoy a visit to the Ucluelet Aquarium where you will see an amazing display of local marine life and be educated by experts about the environment. If you like, you can then join your guide for a walk of the Wild Pacific Trail Lighthouse area and around Ucluelet to see the rugged coastline and sweeping ocean views. You will then spend the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Tofino & Pacific Rim National Park
Today you have a full day to join an activity such as taking a boat cruise to the Hot Springs Cove, kayaking, surfing, hiking through one of the many rainforest trails or simply relaxing on the beach. The remainder of the afternoon and evening is spent at your leisure to explore the town of Tofino.

Tofino to Campbell River
After breakfast and check out, we depart Tofino traveling back toward the east coast of Vancouver Island. We will stop along the way at the Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park, where you can take a walk around the old-growth Douglas Fir rainforest.

We then arrive at Coombs Market, famously known for the goat on the rooftop, which will also be today’s stop for lunch! Here, you can find fresh produce, great sandwiches and the best ice cream on the Island. We then continue our drive along the Coastal Highway 19A travelling through coastal communities and along beautiful landscapes. We then stop for dinner in Comox and finally arriving in Campbell River for you to then check in at your hotel and spend the remainder of the evening at your leisure exploring the peaceful resort or watching a beautiful sunset.

Northern Vancouver Island
The morning will be spent at your leisure with the option to participate in many different optional activities including kayaking, fishing, whale watching or attending a full day Grizzly Bear Expedition* into the Bute or Toba Valley (available from Aug 18 – Oct 15).

We will then head to the Elk Falls Provincial Park to explore the extensive network of walking and hiking trails including the Elk Falls Suspension Bridge and the elevated cantilevered viewing platform that offers amazing views of Elk Falls. We then head back to the hotel for you to enjoy the remainder of your evening at your leisure.

Campbell River – Nanaimo – Vancouver
We depart Campbell River in the morning and make a stop at the Morningstar Farm in Parksville, which is a local food hub featuring self-guided tours, a farmgate store and a petting farm.

Our next stop will be for a stroll along the Harbour front in Nanaimo where you don’t want to miss out on sampling one of the famous and delicious Nanaimo Bars! Later in the afternoon, we will take the ferry from Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay and then return to downtown Vancouver at approximately 6.30pm in the evening.
