Hanoi – Arrival
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International airport, you will transit for the Domestic flight to Noi Bai International airport. This is where you will be greeted by your tour representative and be transferred to hotel for check in. You are then free to explore at your leisure to explore the charming city of Hanoi, often referred to as the ‘Paris of the East’ with its yellow ochre colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and scenic lakes.

Hanoi
After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day of exploring the city, starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder and the President Palace. Your tour in Hanoi continues with a trip to the remarkable Temple of Literature. The remainder of the day and night is yours to spend at your leisure.

Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – 4 star cruise with Victory Cruises
After breakfast, at around 08:00 you will be collected and transferred to the ferry dock in Ha Long International Harbor to embark and enjoy a welcome drink as you board.  Cruise the majestic Ha Long Bay and enjoy lunch on board while admiring the fascinating rock formations along the way. We then stop at the Luon Cave for some kayaking or a row in a bamboo boat. This is known to be one of the must-do activities in Ha Long Bay. Your next stop is at Titop Island with its famous crescent moon-shaped beach and tranquil beautiful blue waters. You will view Halong Bay from the peak of Titop Island which is also known as a must-do activity! Finish your day on the ship sundeck taking in the sunset while enjoying drinks while watching a cooking demonstration as the chefs prepare your dinner. Enjoy the rest of your evening on board at your leisure or join some nighttime squid fishing!

Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An

4 Star Cruise with Victory Cruises
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise and enjoy breakfast followed by a morning Tai Chi session on the ship deck. You will then head on an excursion to stunning Sung Sot cave, the biggest cave in Halong Bay. After a buffet brunch served on board the ship you will then cruise back to port and disembark at around 11:00 where your tour guide will pick up & transfer you to the airport for your flight to Danang. Once landed, you will be collected and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An.

Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh City
Enjoy some free time in Hoi An before you are collected and transferred to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, you are met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon and evening is spent at your leisure.

Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta

Option One
After breakfast at the hotel, at 7.30 am your tour guide will take you to My Tho City by bus. Enjoy the scenery and green rice paddies during the one-and-a-half-hour bus ride. Along the way, you will visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta. Continue to My Tho, where you will take a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you can see fish cages and floating houses on the river. Disembark at a coconut island in Ben Tre and enjoy a walk around the village. Lunch is set with special Vietnamese food. After lunch, enjoy your time relaxing, walking around the village, or perhaps going for a short bike ride. Finally, we travel back to Saigon.

Option Two
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. The network of over 124 miles of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. Start your tour in the morning, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will then spend the hour exploring. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war), and then return to the city center.

Ho Chi Minh City – Siem Reap
You are free until your transfer to the airport to take flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, your representative will be waiting. After an introduction, you’ll transfer directly to the hotel in the city for check-in for some time to freshen up and relax at the hotel.

Siem Reap – Angkor
After having breakfast, you will journey out of the hotel to the South Gate of Angkor Thom. Where atop sits four giant faces that religiously represent compassion, sympathy, equanimity, and charity. Stroll around Bayon temple. Resume the journey to visit Ta Prohm temple, adorned with the amazing tree roots where Lara Croft’s Tomb Raider was filmed.  In the afternoon you will witness the marvelous Angkor Wat, the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO. Built by Surya Varman II in the 12th Century, Angkor Wat is considered one of Asia’s top destinations and is a must-see in your lifetime.

Siem Reap
After breakfast, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure or join an optional tour.

Siem Reap – Phnom Penh
After breakfast, your guide will collect and transfer you by coach to the city of Phnom Penh. Check in and relax at your hotel before an afternoon adventure along the riverfront for a Cyclo (rickshaw) ride where you will experience the highlights of this capital city. After a stroll around the Central Market, we finish the day with another Cyclo ride to the Royal Palace where we then take a walk around the complex of buildings that served as the royal residence for the King of Cambodia! Admire the impressive silver pagoda with over 5,000 solid silver tiles and other royal stupas, shrines and monuments. You are then transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the night at your leisure.

Depart Phnom Penh
After breakfast, check out at 12:00 and enjoy some free time before your departing flight home to San Francisco.
